HealthCare Financial Services

They have a job to do for CAMC, and they do it well. They collect medical bills, and that’s ok. Unlike the city they wont tow your car. And unlike AEP they wont shut off your electricity. And unlike the county sheriff tax department they wont sell your house at auction. So I guess they are pretty fair to deal with. Stay healthy !
They try to steal information in order to satisfy their customer. They use local phone numbers to contact people in dispute and during work hours. They don’t tell you why they are trying to steal your personal information till you verify what they want. They take advantage of the law to make money.
I’ve never dealt with anyone rude here. However, they are a collection agency. After a certain point in collection efforts, I would think it’s their job to be rude. They have always set a reasonable payment arrangement with me when needed and they’ve been understanding when I couldn’t meet the arrangement a few times.
I’ve found the website is down once and a while for payments, but I just call and make it over the phone. Donna is a sweetheart and always ready to help. The only thing I wish they could do, is take a lower amount for a settlement in full. If they still did that, I’d give them 5 stars.
I think the website is terrible to use to make payments through. I make monthly payments on my bill and they still make calls trying to collect despite paying reasonable payments. I haven’t had to deal with anyone who has been rude so that’s why they get 2 stars.
Offered to pay a collection but they still refuse to delete. I wasn’t even aware this was on my credit so I called in and the lady was rude. Unprofessional and not helpful. You would think someone wanting to correct the issue and trying to pay a bill, they would be a little more accommodating and helpful.
