This company downsized their office about 2-2 1/2 years ago.  I hired them to do my professional medical billing, which they have done for the last 3 1/2 years and the results have been, sad to say, very ineffective.  E&A managed to collect just over 60% of my total billing, and the reason it was even that pathetically “high” was because of my needing to actively engage them with suggestions they had not used on their own with my account.  Communications with me were fair to poor, and only as good as that due to my pursuing their attention.  Getting follow-up to concerns that I had expressed to them were almost non-existent.  In addition, they actually lost about 6% of the submitted billings I gave to them – their response to me has been met with silence multiple times.  To say I was extremely disappointed with their lack of performance is a major understatement.  Do not say you were not warned, if you are reading this, and decide to hire them.  To be fair, I will update this review should things change, whether for the better or worse.
UPDATE (11/28/23): Apparently as retribution for my truthful review of my experience with this company, they have blocked my access to may portal or any possible incoming payments due to me. Thus, things have gone from bad to worse with this company. To be fair, I will update any new developments, whether good or bad.
The experience with E&A has been frustrating and extremely disappointing. We are a private practice of physicians and have used E&A for the past several years. Questions are ignored and we are sidelined. Billing wrong providers for services, missed deadlines for carrier contracts, non-existent working accounts receivables and/or denials, many mistakes, held claims for no reason, zero communication with any real problem solving or explanation. Lacking the service they say the provide in all ways.
BEWARE. E&A’s motto seems to be “Submit It and Forget It” concerning the processing of my claims. They did very little follow up or appeals on my claims. Their appeals and follow up was substandard and showed minimal effort.
Been calling for weeks no answer or no call back not professional.
Don’t bother.
