I know it is my responsibility to ensure my bills are paid but being a single parent of three and two jobs is hard to keep on top of everything. My son ear started to hurt again so I contacted the doctor office to make my son appointment and they let me know that they could not due to the unpaid bill and they could not take it. They give me a business card to B&K Coding and Billing. I called and talked to Barbara and she let me know that it had been sent to collections. She reminded me that they called while I was driving and that I told them I would call back which I know this is not true since I would have asked them to call me back. I have a health saving account that can only be used for medical bills so she was going to contact cornerstone and call me back. Barbara did NOT call me back so I called today to check in and she let me know that there was nothing to be done since it was with cornerstone and of course cornerstone can not be paid with my health saving account.

This bill is around 200 and it really would not have been an issue for me to pay it using my health saving account, but now it will not be paid because I can not use my health saving account.

I have not had this issue with any other doctor or dentist office that I have used and they do not send me to collections but have reach out multiple times.

When talking to Barbara they called twice only.

This agency is the worst to work with. I created an auto payment for my medical bill, a few months later I called to pay the entire remaining balance off. They did not cancel the auto payment, so they continued to charge me the next month, even tho my bill was completely paid. I had to call multiple times to get my money back and fix the issue. The next month after the issue i thought was resolved, they send me a statement and say my overpayment now magically became me owing them more money. Again this is taking me multiple phone calls and minimal follow through or response from this agency. They have still not fixed the issue or returned my calls. This is a crooked agency who would take advantage of people who are not closely monitoring their finances.
